DUAL Adelaide premiership coach Malcolm Blight has been appointed as a part-time director of coaching at the Gold Goast Football Club.

Blight, who will step down from his role as a director on the Suns' board, will provide support to senior coach Guy McKenna in the same manner Rodney Eade is assisting Nathan Buckley at Collingwood and Mark Thompson is guiding James Hird at Essendon.
