Malthouse: Bartel, Kelly or Tenace

Malthouse has said he would like either Bartel, Kelly or Tenace for their pick 7.

If it is part of a deal to land Ottens I may be willing to let go of Tenace, or is he guaranteed to be a gun? Your thoughts?

Well he would wouldn't he. It was just a speculative suggestion by Malthouse to say that if the cats wanted their pick, it wouldn't come cheap.

Nothing in it at all and none of these players will be going anywhere for that price.

Is it me or am I the only one who thinks that Geelong is a key forward away from a premiership?
There's a few young players down at Geelong who can be rotated through the midfield, I think that losing one of them won't hurt the club that much. On the other hand, a key forward is badly needed, I don't think a premiership can be won without one.

This really looks like Collingwoods attempt to get Nick Stevens. You don't give anything you don't get anything. Hoarding midfielders and having forwards who can't get the job done doesn't help the club. The missing link could be a Bartel,Kelly or Tenace away. Sometimes hard choises need to be made.

I don't think Tenace can be traded, to my knowledge you can't trade first year players, after what happen with Lochlan Veale last year. Don't take my word for it, that's what I thought, not sure if it's 100% true. Even if he can be traded, he won't! Same goes for Kelly and Bartel
