WTF? Man drought? What we have in Australia is a women drought! Every nightclub, every pub, every social event the men outnumber the women. Its ALWAYS a sausage fest wherever you go.

It depends where you go tho or where you live. There are lots of regional areas where the girls far outweigh the guys in general population. And those regional girls are generally hotter and not stuck up at all.

As for 'picking up'....shopping centers and malls are where it's at.

I wouldn't know any of this tho, just what I've heard from friends and read on the internet and stuff like that...

I was chatting to my girlfriends mum once about the supposed 'man drought' when I said there are still roughly the same amount of men and women in the country overall. She disagreed and said there were more women than men, I replied by stating that there possibly were slightly more women than men (unsure of exact statistics) but it would still be roughly 50/50. She said, no that's wrong. Puzzled by the fact that nature dictates that there is roughly a 1:1 female/male ratio I asked her what she believed was the approximate ratio:

4:1! Would've laughed my head off if it wasn't my girlfriends mum, she still believes it too, even after I given her evidence and logic to the contrary. The funny thing is that she's not the only female to believe this.

Haha, man drought. Most of my male friends are single, yet most of my female friends are taken. Not to mention the fact that pretty much everywhere you go there are twice as many blokes as there are women. No such thing exists.
