Yeah, I started to get into the draft pretty seriously a few years back, then GC/GWS came along and really...meh. Maybe next year/year after I'll start to care again, but when it's this compromised, why bother?


That we'll probably only have 2 picks tonight makes it even more meh.


It's something to do over the off season, but care factor is low.

Its already happening and we're still 3 hours away from finding out who we're getting. The draft discussion thread is full of posters saying they will be bitterly disappointed if we take Y over X.

Yet at the end of next season those same posters will be praising Y as a future 200 game premiership player.

What do you mean will, he has already labelled the fact that we're only taking 2-3 picks as crap and that we should be taking at least 5.
