Aside from whatever else happens this season, Amorims inability to see the issue playing Bruno and Casemiro as a midfield 2, for a manager seemingly so astute, is mind boggling. I can only think maybe he was doing it on purpose to try to force the ownership and board to go out and buy players for the midfield. Given he then basically got himself sacked because they wouldnt points to this being a possibility.

Amorim probably used the same formation in Portugal and saw success, so he figured the PL wouldn’t be that much of a step up. 😂

Real Madrid apparently keen on Bruno and could look to sell Bellingham.

If that is the case, I'd be asking the question of Bellingham. A 22 year old star, who can score and has great vision is exactly what we are lacking.

I was all for selling him when Amorim was in charge and Bruno was being played out of position. Then Carrick comes in and Bruno has been excellent, so I am rethinking it lol.

IMO we should keep Bruno unless it's stupid money and he wants to go.

He's thriving playing in a decent formation, and he's super fit so should be able to play well for years.

Definitely keen on Bellingham if possible though.

I agree. But he only has a release clause of 52 mil. Chump change really, to RM.

I reckon that Bruno stays, but if he goes, Bellingham has to be priority number 1.

Missed the news about a release clause.

Bloody hell, not ideal.

To get Bellingham we’d have to pay ridiculously stupid wages and even then I’m not sure he’d want to downgrade from Madrid to current state United.

Maybe we will go back in for Baleba.
