Mate his crosses where rubbish, yes he got the ball and ran fast but what was his end product like.

What's the latest on Rooney extending his contract? Has been very good for your mob but surely he can't be asking for more money considering what he gets already!

I have heard that he won't be negotiating a new contract yet, but that wasn't from a reliable source, there's been nothing official I don't think.

I hope that he wants to stay because we need him, all that talk that he wanted to leave he never confirmed or denied it,so who knows.

Can't help but think he's going to leave us in the summer window though

It actually sucks not having a winger who can put in a decent cross on a consistent basis. So much work done by the team for Valencia to pummel it along the ground into the defender, Ashely young to kick it to the opposite corner flag and nani to trick himself and fall over his own feet -_-

We really need to work on our wide options and bring some quality in who can actually cross. Don't know why we just don't persist with zaha over players like young, at least he can deliver....

Think he would be stupid to move at this stage of his career. He certainly wouldn't be able to cope living abroad in cultures like Paris / Madrid / Barcelona. With one year left on his contract he could push through a move to another EPL club but realistically Arsenal would be the only club your mob would even consider selling to in England.

Can't see United letting him go into the last year of a contract without an indication he's prepared to sign a new one.

Thought it was fanciful when it was first mooted but I'd be on the phone to Jose asking for a swap with Mata.

Chelsea would be stupid to do it but arent showing a lot of smarts when it comes to Mata.

He either commits or is off in the summer, he has to make that decision soon.

I still hope he stays with us but if he doesn't then yeah, I'd like a swap for Mata. Rooney has shown this season just how good he is, so I think it would be fair.
