Chloe Fox has held onto Bright, while Labor has won Mitchell.

...and in the washup, the Liberals somehow, unbelievably, manage to elect MHS as the new deputy leader, the former leader beating another former leader 10-8, while the new blood was eliminated in the first round.
It's like they want to fail.

Yep, less than a week after conceding defeat, the infighting continues, and Major Bungle is deputy leader again.
Chapman's probably still out the back counting the numbers![]()

What's astounding about that story is that some pretty left peole such as Dean Jaensch were well and truly getting stuck into the ALP yet the partisan fanboys here choose to deflect or defend.
Pretty rich for you to be referring to anyone else as a fanboy.

Nope I have the ability to acknowledge flaws and faults within the Liberal party the Deputy Leader is the example of one.
Those on here blindly defending the Family First scandal for the sheer fact that the ALP orchestrated it are showing absolute partisan blindness similar to what they show for the Crows.
Politics isn't footy and I don't cheer for a side.
If you're inferring that I lost as a resident of South Australia I'd heartily agree.
But I've well and truly come to grips with the election result and have taken heart from certain resignations and the general backtreading vibe i'm getting from the issues I actually care about such as the Law and Order agenda and Adelaide Oval.
If Rann was satan, as you previously implied, there wouldnt be a version able to be softened to your liking. Either you were over the top then, or youve been crushed horribly now. Take your pick and let me know so i can gloat.![]()
That was clearly hyperbole so we'll have to lock in over the top.
A SURPRISE Liberal party-room ballot for the deputy leadership is looming for next week.
Speculation was rife in Liberal circles late yesterday about the move and there was intense lobbying for votes.
Sources told The Advertiser that Opposition Leader Isobel Redmond was still upset over last Tuesday's party-room vote in which her preferred deputy, Iain Evans, was defeated by former leader Martin Hamilton-Smith.
It is possible that the meeting to vote for a new deputy could be held on Tuesday.
I cant help but think after what has happened the last week or so that South Australia picked the right way on election day.
With all due respect I see that and raise you an Adelaide Oval retraction.
Having said that. Hypothetical for you if Atko promises not to be A-G before instead of after the election what swing does the ALP get towards them?
