Roddick isn't good enough, and I'm one of his biggest fans.

You can only go so far on a big serve. I think the other parts of his game are getting better, but mentally he's a mess. I think he's a head case. He's developed an inferiority complex towards Federer, who owns him (and everyone else) and I don't believe Andy believes in his own game anymore.

Needs a sports psychologist and quickly, otherwise he's going to go down in history as one of tennis' greatest underachievers.

Agree with that. I actually thought Roddick would take this one out.
Anyway on Baghdatis, has a lot of power for a bloke who isn't that big. I remember him playing some great shots against Federer last year (Federer won in 4 sets I think) and smiling throughout the whole game.

This bloke is truly amazing.
Plays off emotion and never gives up, that's what i love about him.
And a top bloke to go with it, deserves to be in the final, one of the biggest hearts in sport.
Doesn't matter if the guy is 2 sets down 5 love down, he will never lose his fight and spirit.

I wish the commentators could at least pronounce his name right. Forget pronouncing his last name, most people can say that correctly. But I dont know for the life of me how those who are paid to commentate tennis cannot differentiate between Marcos and Marcus...

Well unfortunately he lost, but I still cant get over JA's inability to pronounce his name. After over 2 hours of tonights game, and 2 weeks of the tournament, JA proceeded to call Marcos after the match Marcus Baldaris. Now what is he getting paid for? Not only can he not provide any decent comments during the game, he's too stupid to figure out how to pronounce one of the finalists names.

It should be pronounced "Bag-DAR-tis", not "Bag-DAT-is". JA said Marcos a few times, I just think he gets lazy and says Marcus.

Yeah, I noticed that. Good speech though, straight from the heart. (So was Fed's - who could begrudge the man his win when it clearly meant so much to him)
