How do you guys reckon he'll go next season?

I was impressed with his physicality and intensity right from the start, he got a good run of games to pick up the pace of it. Should be much improved after another pre-season. Tackles numbers went right up after a few games and his game in the final against a star player in Ryan O'Keefe was very good.

I think we've got ourselves a good defender here.

Davies laid some crunching tackles in the competitive stuff at training on the 6th of Jan; very impressive.
He set the tone along with Armfield and a couple of others.

He was really proud of himself and everyone, including his victims, were impressed with his conviction...so was I.

If Davies' football improves as much as Russell's, it's possible that he could be the enforcer we're looking for. Read a similar comment in his board on TC that he will hurt people in years to come. Apparently you hear could the contact as he brought down the player in a tackle. May have been the following tackle captured by Mister Carlton.

I watched the round 22 game again and concentrated on Davies. Davies can kick, run and tackle, so we might have something to work with there. Ran hard and threaded a beautiful pass over the head of two or three Dockers to hit up the leading Betts.
