I reckon Finey is one that does speak his mind. I don't agree with him on everything but I admire that he says what is on his mind and doesn't kowtow to the AFL line.
I remember him having a real go at KB and the rulemakers of the game and it got a bit ugly.
 
Doran is a w***er no doubt about it and as for Mourning Glory they are continually removing fence pickets from their arse

To be fair, if Doran started speaking his mind, you'd have four hours of silence, interupted by commercials.

that rise will be the posters on BF that don't listen to SEN, but read this board and wondering why this Doran fellow is so disliked, "hmm i must listen for myself to figure out why"
watch the ratings drop again once they figure out what a squid he is.
another reason could be the recession and those that are losing their jobs, staying at home feeling depressed and thinking that they may as well feel really bad and listen to the clown as well. actually that could be hazardous to their health.
don't kid yourself doran, someone in the ratings department has made a typo and accidentally bumped up your ratings.
 
Funny listening to He and Rota talking about the NRL stuff this week and not once was AFL mentioned in relation to the same sort of incidents.
 
The ratings would definitely be a worry for Mark himself and will make the management at SEN take notice. The AFL season is now in full swing and there has been an improvement across the board at the station. The Good Oil only lifted its audience share by 0.1 of a percent, while the next rise was 0.5 for the MG, 0.6 for KB's show, 0.8 for the Run Home and 1.4 for Finey's show. The Good Oil has the lowest ratings by a fair bit at SEN and If these ratings continue for his show, maybe, just maybe there may be a change.

Haven't listened to the clown in a few days was wondering what his attitude and stance with the NRL scandal has been like?
 
How quick do you reckon Snoran would fall to the ground if I sprinted at him and exploded off one foot with my elbow tucked into my body and hit him dead-set smack in the middle of his face with my shoulder? It would be a classic face-and-shoulder.

And how long would it take for him to get back up?

Always wanted to know this...

Impossible to consider because I am sure he would turn tail as soon as he saw the sense of danger. Kind of like a deer in the wild, they have an innate sense of danger and turn tail as soon as they smell trouble.
Hypothetically one clip and he would be out for a season in my opinion. No Alex Rance- Joel Selwood heroics from that man.

Today I listened to SEN for maybe the first time ever outside of match day. What a tool that guy is. Once the initial story proved to be false, instead of backing down, they just start coming up with alternative theories pulled from thin air and put the blame for all the confusion on Richmond. :rolleyes:
 
As soon as i heard that Brad Hodge didn't get selected for the Ashes squad i couldn't bring myself to listen this afternoon.

Which guests has he had on?

Hodges mum?
Hodges sister?
Hodges wife?
Hodges manager?

Has he started a petition to get Hodgey into the Ashes squad?

Laughable really, maybe he thinks that if he calls them respected journalists he will gain kudos and they might mention him as a respected journalist. FAT CHANCE.
Most of the footy journalists are only respected by themselves.
I have a little respect for Sheahan, Wilson and Smith, at least they are not after sensationalisation like some of the others. Wilson is more into the politics, Smith has a go at the AFL and Sheahan although a knob is generally balanced.
 
This f*cker has to be stopped. Seriously, i have never heard a ruder, less-knowledgable announcer in my life. Todays behaviour was rude, arrogant and offensive. He would not let Rita speak because she had a different opinion to his wild assumptions regarding Richmond, then the same to a caller who has a different opinion to him.

I cannot believe how he has this gig - surely the bosses realise that they would get more listeners with a presenter who is sport-knowledgable, polite to callers and presenters and who accepts differing opinions. Must have compromising pics of the boss, surely.

Probably getting paid peanuts, cheapest tool available. Anyone half decent would cost more than 25 grand a year.
