Guys, i doubt Plough is going to base our future around the lad.

He is a solid player, trys hard and by no means utterly bad. Our defence is very weak and Graham should strengthen us for a season, maybe 2 untill the kids mature abit.

Good, short term pick up. :)

Wallace pretty much echoed the same on both SEN and 3aw a short time ago.

Said he would be happpy to see him act as a mentor to someone like moore who he could help develop into a KPP.

Great pick-up at # 67.
I was hoping we (bulldogs) would get him... just what we need an experienced full-back, but it was pretty inevitable the tigers would.
A ready made quality full-back... do you think he'll slot straight into that role?
Good 1-2 year player, wallace has done well with these kind of players before he delists them. win-win IMO.

Not sure where he will play. Whats his best spot? He will slot stright into defence either way.

lol whats the deal with all of tambling's photos? he seems to be down the bottom or sitting down! is this why he has so much energy in his legs? :D

Some of my mates made there way down to training the other day (then retiring to the the pub).

They reckon Mark is comming along very well.

People remember successful times and dismiss the bad ones irrespective of the calibre of players that may have held us up durring those times.

It will be interesting if we are to be successful, how guys like Richo,Cambell,Knights and guys like Graham who could do everything feasible for his age will be remembered when they retire before the good stuff.

the five year plan means those players holding us up at the moment will not be there. Will we remember them????

Terry only got him to Richmond to help the younger players like Kelvin Moore to become a good player and long term.

If you guys think Mark Graham is a full back you're all deluded. He's a decent HBF or even BP. If he's playing FB just pencil in his opponent in for 4 or 5. He's not a KPP by any stretch of the imagination, he doesn't have the height or strength.

...

How stupid do you think we are?

None of us are under any illusions that Graham will be either the #3 or #4 defender. We are expecting Gaspar to be fully recovered from his reco and to take the #1 forward the other tall defenders to be Kellaway, Schulz, Hall and Graham.

Our longer term defenders are still unproven kids which is why we need a short term 'sure-thing' which Graham fulfills.

We have no backline.. All gameplanning is being coached foward of centre.. If the opposition happen to win the ball from the centre then it's a case of Blind Mans Bluff.

Much like last year, we have no backline. Pity Zanners was a wannabe Angwin, we need a bit of craziness back there. Hell I reckon I could play better than Gaspar atm, and Ive swallowed a bottle of scotch (The contents) and now drinking coffee at 03:15... and I still reckon I could beat Gaspar in a 9am showdown.

dont expect anything from gasper, hes on borrowed time and should be part of a lont term clean out

Not at all.

Last year he was very poor and frankly soft.

However he is a very good player and he desevres a fresh start this year.

H|Nahh, won't answer that one.
Didn't realise the bloke suggesting Graham for FB was a Bulldog. You're right though he should provide some decent backline cover for a season or two and he will play the odd good game too.

Gaspar was hard as nails last season?

Not going in hard and hearing footsteps makes you soft in my book.
Got you jumping at shadows haven`t i

Was genuinely agreeing with you , Fresh starts all round this year ... that includes Gasper , he has enough points in the bank to be given another chance .... just one though
