Mark Johnson & Kepler Bradley?

Both delisted by essendon today. Johnson has the toughness that the young blokes could benefit a lot from but at 29 years of age is risky while bradley is still very young and in my opinion, has potential. Is it worth looking to pick up one of these players in the PSD?

As for MJ, I'd just rather our club not participate. Both are useless.

Bradley maybe if there is nothing else, why not really, still young, not like we are giving a spot to someone stealing it from a youth, if he earns a spot from the VFL then so be it.

Kepler is the biggest dudd ever! Sentanta has achieved more in football and he's only been playing the game for 2 years compared to KB who has been playing all his life!

We don't neen Johnson either, if it was 1997 we probably would have got him, but this is the new Carlton.......we need youth!

i wouldn't blame it all on essendon - they initially asked for higher draft choices from freo and then agreed on pick 40. then freo withdrew and offered pick 56 and essendon told them where to stick it and called their bluff. if freo really want him and miss out they only have themselves to blame as all they had to do was give up pick 40.

Yeah but Freo likely withdrew pick 40 because they realised Essendon were going to delist him anyway. If your going to delist the bloke and there is a trade on the table that isn't going to be improved just accept it and help Kepler on his way. Creating goodwill at the trade table and amongest the playing group is very important and here, within a month of being appointed a coach, Knights is making life tough for poor Kelper for no gain.

Knights was just doing Freo a favour....Knights knows Kepler is the biggest dud in town and wanted to be honest....best thing for Kepler is to play in the local under 12's for a while and see if he can get a kick....

All those Carlton fans who think Kepler would be good must be living on Mars, he couldn't get a game at Essendon.....they have the worst list in the AFL along with Richmond....thats why nobody would trade with them...so why do Carlton need Kepler?? no reason...we simply don't!!!

If we pick up Johnson, Lance would have evry right to egg the club.........don't push him........he'll do it.
