Sadly no, he will be our coach for 12 more months at least.

Regardless I have no doubt under Mark Thompson, Mark Williams, or Neil Craig we'd be a far better side.

Neither could win a game at their respective clubs and were sacked accordingly.

Thompson is the only one out of the 3 I would want but like you say, is unlikely to leave the Bombers.

Buckley will probably be given most of next season to turn it around I'd imagine.

If was it for me after that game as well. Tonight may have been bad but under the circumstances the GC is still the worst loss I have ever seen. Tonight is close second but at least we didn't lose to a side with no bench and the best player in the comp playing.

As far as I'm concerned he's tainted by the essendon saga and I'd hate for him to be at our club

Mark Thompson is a premiership coach and knows what it takes to coach his team to win.
He is hugely experienced, something this club needs in its next head coach.

It's common sense, only knee jerks blame the coach when the list is maturing, they need something simple to blame, the complexity of all the variables and true reality of the situation confuses them

Combination of things but it's been escalating over the years. Head coach takes biggest responsibility,
Players on the field have fallen in to lazy ways, once it happens it's nearly impossible to stop. Can't see a turn around. Time for change.

Can't see this exact same list bouncing back. Needs drastic changes if Buckley wants to coach the style he does. Just getting worse each season. Only bright spot is 5-6 18 year olds.

There is a guy who coached West Coast last year who's doing nothing at the moment.
I think he is a two time premiership captain and one time premiership coach.
Not a bad CV.
