Wow. A more resounding and convincing victory you'll never see. Well done Cats!

Proving that talk should come after the game and not before!

Arrogance, Oh yes - being able to back it - gee we wish we had the money!

Apparently has said in his press conference that the only way he thought he would beat us was to act all confident and cocky. Seems a bit weird after that article in the HUN on Friday where Hird said he was so impressed with Williams strategies for today that he jumped on board the PA bandwagon. Makes Hird look silly. Williams looks really silly this evening.

You have to admit at the end when he went over and congratulated our boys was very nice of him.
But his arrogance in the media this week has just been stupid, and now it makes him look like quite the fool.

Was a nice gesture on his behalf, but after all the stuff he said during the week, I was half hoping someone would tighten his tie a bit. :D

Not being in Melbourne but reading on the net, I was confident that Port knew they were done before the event. They were trying for any angle to get a chink in us....if we turned up they were never goint to be a match for our commitment.....
You handle the mental pressure as well as the physical pressure. Well done Cats!!

He might just play the game his way with the talk, to convey the all conquering Port spirit, but then again he should get kudos for going over to the Geelong players and congratulate them after the win.

Yeh congrats to the cats. And as much as i dont really like Choco i thought it was a nice gesture to go around and congratulate cats players... it may've done his own boys a bit of good as well, he seemed in pretty good spirits for a coach who just had his team thumped to smitherines in a GF.

So a man who gets beaten after talking it up it up, comes back cap in hand should get congratulated - I think not!

I was watching the game on TV (from Darwin). Did any one see or know the cats supporter in the crowd who was choking himself with a tie?

Hilarious Stuff. I was wondering when that was going to come back and bite Choco on the bum.

I was just talking to my old man on the phone and he said Williams had been pumping Port up all week to walk on water, they forgot how to run on grass......

When Ottens can run down and tackle a half back flanker, well , INSPIRATIONAL.

i recon he knew he was gonna cop a flogging and was playing every angle. PA are probably a year or two off and he knew it.

I heartily endorse Pendlesisadud's events or products!! Quoting a Krusty the Clown saying.

Certainly it was glorious to see all his pre-game talk and honky-dory type cool behaviour was washed away in a blue and white tsunami of footy brilliance. Go Cats, a dynasty has begun!!

I wouldn't get too carried away - one 20 goal grand final win doesn't make a summer!

Your mob got smashed by Brisbane by 100 points a couple of months ago whereas Port happened to have a shocker on the day that mattered most, but it was against a quality opponent. We'll bounce back, we've got a winning tradition, today was crap, but even given today, Port Adelaide has a lot more to be proud of on field than what Collingwood does.

The Cats just too good, well played and enjoy your victory.

Williams is not arrogant. He knew what he had to face and he had to try some kind of mind game stuff for his boys not THE CATS,he knew how good they were have no doubt and it was always going to happen.

I didn't call him arrogant (I don't know him, so how could I say if he is or not?) I said his arrogance in the media, which I interpret as the way he acted in the media...
Obviously Mark Williams was writing cheques his butt couldn't cash!

What happened to to letting footy do the talking?
