Ahh k

I just thought it was ordinary of Judge to pretty much imply he didn't deserve a game and it was a shame somebody missed out 'but he's got a medal, so I guess he'll be happy..'

Perhaps he's just pissed that Chick pretty much bailed on East Fremantle.

Geez - all the Swans fans ****ed off pretty quick.

I'll say. There was only about 100 people left once the Swans fans left. ;)

Just got home, good first half but very average second. Read was a highlight in the 4th.

Go you mighty Lions!!!! What a win from Subi, Swans played well for the first quarter and a half but it was all Subiaco after that.

Subiaco - 2008 WAFL Premiers!!!! Back to Back to Back!!!!!! :D :thumbsu:

Swans were great early, they made all the plays early on, Subi were hanging at some parts during the first quarter. The second quarter was much the same but Subi kicked two a minute and the momentum completely changed from there, Subi really domintaed from there on in.

There was a good crowd in also despite the ordinary weather for the first half of the day, 23199 was the official total which I thought was a pretty good attendence. Swans had quite a few supporters there (I should know, my tickets were right in the middle of them all) and Subi had numbers at the other end.

The reason behind the uproar about Chick is that he's been suspended three times during the year and missed quite a number of games towards the end of the year. Some of the Subi faithful weren't happy at his inclusion into the Reserves side for the Preliminary Final which meant that players who have been brought up in the Subi system (lived in the district - brought up through Development Squads, Colts etc) would miss out. Chicky was named as an emergency for the GF but ended up playing at the expense of Ben Randall (who is the President's Son).

A fair few Swans fans left early also, there were a number who left at three quarter time but there was a huge exodus about ten minutes into the final quarter. About half the area we were (middle of a heap of Swans fans) was empty by the final siren.

Anyway, great win to the Lions, three in a row is a magnificent effort

Go Lions!! :D :thumbsu:

Congratulations Subi. Damn you Swans, I went there expecting a loss and then you give me hope at quarter time and it's snuffed out by half time!
Hopefully we can keep a lot of these young guys together for next season, add some of this year's colts and we could be in the mix for next year.

OMG is that Reserves score serious . Were they playing on an ice rink or something?

Deadly serious. Reserves game was wet, slippery and very windy. Made kicking for goal an absolute nightmare.

Claremont only have themselves to blame though, they let East Freo get off to a lightning fast start and then squandered opportunities at the other end. Amazing to think that the Sharks only scored 16 more points after quarter time and still won.

it says garlett in the colts granny and then garlett again in the league granny. did he play 2 games or is that a brother or a totally different player.

I was supporting the swans but stayed until subi had gone into the rooms!
i sat right behind the city goals
lots of swans supporters there
