Not really a mashup, but this deserves to be seen by as many people as possible.

Been listening to Team Teamwork a bit lately. His mashup of Zelda music and rap, aptly titled 'The Ocarina of Rhyme' is a bloody interesting listen. Difficult to get through the whole thing though.

Also does some mashups with some of my favourites artists including Sigur Ros, Okkervil River, Jens Lekman, M83 and many more.

Both albums can be downloaded for free from http://8tracks.com/teamteamwork

Also, E-603's new album is out. The range of samples rivals Girl Talk's recent efforts. Haven't made my mind up totally, but an interesting listen so far.
The whole album can be downloaded from http://www.e-603.com/E-603/HOME.html

DJ Z*Trip - Check out some of this guys mixes. He was one of the original mash-up DJs and he's still goin strong. The Live in LA mix is a good one to give you an overview of what he's about

That Danger Mouse Grey Album is fantastic

There's a great Jay-Z/Radiohead mash-up album out there called Jaydiohead. Probably better than the Grey Album, but it wasn't anywhere near as ground-breaking as it only came out last year after about 500 other Jay-Z mash-ups had already been done.

Girl Talk is poo. Poo. Most over-rated DJ around. He doesn't even worry about mixing songs together that are in the same key. Musically, he's as talentless as my anus. He's only popular because he blends pop songs. It makes me sick that he is so big when there's tons of better mash-up DJs out there.

Milkman is currently my favourite mashup artist. Here are a few clips;

Not sure RFC - they're good mashups though hey. It's sorta a minimalist approach to mashups, generally only 2/3 songs but they work really well.

I REALLY like the 'Epic Black Rock' one, Faith no more/Epic, AC/DC - Back in Black and Queen/We Will Rock You. Works amazingly well. The new Air one is awesome too, the best thing being they're all free mp3 downloads :D

If anyone's interested Lobsterdust is also the dj that does that spoken word song that plays queen backwards to get the satanic verses, they play it on Triple J sometimes.

If you're a fan of the Jaydiohead mash-up, check out Wait What's mash-up of Notorious B.I.G. with The XX.

I like the Air vs Queens of the Stone Age one.

Love it.

Speaking of Girl Talk, I recommend the following documentary if you haven't seen it already:

I posted this in the hip hop thread a week ago, forgetting that this thread existed. It's probably more suitable here, so...

I just got an excellent mix by some guys called Ludachrist, who usually make drum n bass under a different alias. It's not strictly hip hop, it's basically a mash-up mix but one of the best examples I've heard. Anyone into DJs like Z*Trip, Scratch Perverts, Girl Talk, etc should really check it out.
