what i don't get with the extreme dumbness is that the zone markings are a line immediately crossed. We have the square but one kick and the swans have flooded.
Chris Masten is now our board mascot.
All hail our tattooed god
Masten has swagger. Must be all those motivational speeches from a certain poster later.
This board right now.

Love you Chris
Fly your flags at half masten
Shuey and Masten, forever legends.
Both shall be remembered for ******* over insufferable campaigners.
Oh my god. I like Masten. Really. Tentatively football and now this.
Masten...GOAT
MASTO has more balls to speak up than some big names.
Was interesting to hear on the podcast how Schoey lashed Dangerfield for siding with the AFL, saying he'd say anything for a stack of cash.
Thought OP was a pisstake, well done to Masto.

Great news, does that mean you are going to **** off with your Masto bashing now ?![]()

**** man haven't seen you post in a long time.
I wish he'd leave the sport alone.“The AFL is ridiculous. Leave the sport alone. It will get figured out,” Masten said
What are you talking about - the AFL have been doing it for years - ie changing the rules. Not that I agree with changing the rules all the time though. You don't see this in other codes - can only think its people in high places trying to justify their jobsThat's it Masto *** the haters.
I bet most players would rather have this guy as the player rep rather than that brown nosing puppet Dangerfield.
I love my footy but can see me completely switching off next year if they do this. Fancy bringing in 6 changes all at one time, some of them fabric changing. And to top it off part way through a season? campaigners have go completely ******* gaga.
.Changing a rule or tinkering with a rule at the start of the season after a couple of preseason trials is one thing. Making half a dozen rule changes, some if them that completely change how the game is played ( zones, expanded goal square) mid season all at once with no trials for any of them is completely another. What are you talking about - the AFL have been doing it for years - ie changing the rules. He made sense
The game was pretty ugly in the 05-06 grand finals yet produced great grand finals
The game evolved after that ...hawks attacked
Bulldog win with slick handballing
Richmond with fierce tackling pressure creating turn overs and slick ball use
The game will figure itself out
It's hideous to watch at the moment. It's 40 players on the tv screen. Nobody likes change, particularly players who are barely getting a game as it is.
Both the bulldog and tiger game plans you describe are dependent on flooding and having huge numbers everywhere. It's disgusting to watch.
Most people can barely sit through their own games, let alone watch a neutral game.
when, in the history of the entire AFL, has a rule change actually fixed the problem it was supposed to fix?
do you offer any evidence whatsoever that zones would suddenly make every game of AFL entertaining again?
Cheers for the input Gil. Keep up theIt's hideous to watch at the moment. It's 40 players on the tv screen. Nobody likes change, particularly players who are barely getting a game as it is.
