the match selection panel needs to be commended for the second half of this year.
when we were 3-10, some players looked like they were getting gifted games, and had not earned them. Injuries did not help the issue, plus some indifferent form from certain players. Plus we were playing people in positions that did not compliment them or the players around them.
during this run, we have seen players come in that have deserved their spot due to good form in the VFL, under performing players sent back until they forced their way in and a more settled line up, with players in the positions where they can do the most damage.
Not only has the players and coaching groups improved during the year, but the match selection panel needs to be toasted for selecting the correct side for the previous 9 weeks.
