Hall of Famer
Discussion in the suggestion box thread has turned to how we structure match threads. Current practice is:
- early in the week start a "Preview" thread to discuss match-ups, ins and outs, etc.
- on gameday, close the Preview thread and start a new "Gameday" thread
- at the conclusion of the match, close the Gameday thread and start a "Review" (after a win) or "Autopsy" (after a loss)
The case against this approach is summed up by Seeds:
The case for the current approach is that it neatly separates the different types of discussion we have about matches throughout the week.
Any thoughts or preferences? Can't guarantee that the poll winner will be implemented but we will take it into account in deciding how to structure threads this year.

Match day thread and post game thread to be merged into the same thread. Cutting off conversations 2 mins after a game has finished is really annoying. Or atleast allow the match day thread to remain open for the remainder of the day. Likewise with pre game thread and pre game match day threads.
