was there just got in and am a bit tipsy.

for me a few things stood out nothing we dont already know. size sheesh we play too many short people and this leads into things like missed tackles bloody hell they kicked some goals because of this. its a basic and it is critical we cant as a side continue to cop up 6 8 goals a game because of it. i dont know how many times we pressured realy well had em on toast only for a tackle to slip at the wrong time and they scored because of it.
and blokes like nahas are a big part of the problem he tried hard but at times he may as well not have been there just pushed aside edwards is another. jake king confirmed for me today that hes a good vfl player and a lousty afl player.

rucks sheesh graham tried hard did one or two nice things but bloody hell we have to do better.
the size of our key backs is a huge concern every time cox or natanui went forwrd we had no answer rance did have a decent game and tried but sheesh he continues to make too many basic mistakes. the good at times is very good but this is offset by the bad its very bad.
if i had a choice between mcguane and thursfield id take thursfield.

for those who advocate we trade jack bloody hell are you kidding. thouight matt dea looked okay i still think we have a decent player here.
will also say vickery needs to spend time in the gym building up core strength and size we need to start playing him more as a ruckman hes the logical choice and the team is screaming for him to step up into this role.

oh and finally i never ever use the umps as an excuse but today we did not get a fair go, i have no doubt that we would have lost but sheesh i really believe the club should be complaining about the standard.

finally i think there are some good signs i also think more big bodies and better structure alone would see us much more competetive than we are. to really challenge though we do need to find more quality right across the board.

If its any consolation I was at the game and agree you guys did not get a fair go with the umpires. There were a few we got dudded but many many more where I was shaking my head where you guys were penalised. Makes up for some of the games recently where we have been given a bad run but doesn't help you and shouldn't happen as often as it does.

To be honest, as infuriating as it is, I wonder how often teams like WCE and Freo cop the same thing when they travel over here. Except when they play against Melb and Norf, since there's only 10 people and their dogs in attendance.

What pisses me off the most is this is yet another wasted game, no real experimenting and getting games into some younger players eg post , griff

Recent games have simply been pointless exercises in fixture filling. Like most Tigerfans I am resigned to losing every game but I'd like to see even a semblance of suggestion that the powers that be were pretending we were at least distantly related to a self respecting club with a plan.

Yeah, totally understand, but you know our frustration

I reckon we had a decent go with the umps against Geelong, and we were beaten by 10 goals. But this one, you could just see it unfolding from the very first quarter. One of our sponsors, Clive Peeters, will be happy this week. A few Tiger supporters might be looking for new LCD TVs I'm guessing
