Good win by the boys, was really happy with Lucas he played fantastic. JUDD!! what a champion this guy is FREAK. White started of abit shakey but after the 1st quarter he went alright. Yarran, Garlett and Betts are great up foward especialy Yaz he is a gun!

Houlihan should be the only player taking kick ins.

A few people went off way too early as per usual. I'd probably want these supporters out of the team before I want Walker out. Way to support people.

Walker is a little more pressured in defence, no doubt. Even when he was making skill errors in defence, he was also running further upfield and delivering very well. Those that suggested we maybe don't play him in defence were being far more constructive.

Walker probably ran further than everybody in the team today, and really assisted in driving us from the backline.

Take away a couple of clangers and he was almost BOG.

Maybe alleged supporters will try to post more constructively when criticising in future ... but I doubt it.

I think Walker was one of our best. I shook my head a few times early on, but his run in the side was so so valuable.

I guess the thing with Walker now is he has all the tools at his disposal to become a really good player for us. To do this he has to play smarter and has to play to his strengths, he's a great kick often on the run and can hit a target 40-50 metres away running at full tilt...not many can do that. What isn't a strength for him is stop start kicking deep in the back half.

Today was his best game for some time, hopefully sets him up for remainder of the year

83% efficiency for Walker, team average was 78%. Yes he did have 5 clangers with Garlett the only player with more, but then Robinson has 100% efficiency with 2 clangers, so clangers also take into account dropped marks, missed tackles etc.

Pretty sure they don't, ODN. Robinson's two clangers came from frees against. Walker had 1, so 4 of his clangers would be due to disposal errors. Not all that bad given he had 36 disposals.

If they count free kicks as clangers, that is pretty silly IMO. Some are part and parcel of the game and not necessarily a poor piece of play. Was Walker's 50m the only free he gave away?

must make you wonder whether they are only following the blues so that they can bag us... although incog has made a couple of interesting valid points in the past so he might be ok...
