Matchday Thread Round 22:- Carlton v Adelaide.

Finally we are here the last round of the H&A matches, the Blues will be playing in their first finals since 2001 and a long wait it has been. We need to win this game to go into the finals in winning form, but the rumours are rife that Walker, JR, Hammo won't be playing. Not sure what's going on, but I hope this is not true. I would hate to get done today and limp into the finals.

I would have liked to go to the catch up, bloody ice and Antarctica.

Had a wierd dream last night...Blues got off to a good start and finished the first quater 4.0 (24) to 0.3 (3)

But then the crows put the clamp down to us and we only scored a behind in the second quater while they freely scored to go into the main break 4.1 (25) to 10.7 (67).

The third quater was another scrappy quater by both teams wasting chances but the Blues won the quater, 10.10 (70) to 14.13 (97)

We came out firing in the last quater, kicking 6.2 in the first 15 mins to grab the lead, but Adelaide once again clamped us down and kicked 3 straight to lead by 7 points with 5 mins remaining. We grab another goal with 2 mins to go to get it down to a 1 point game. With 20 seconds on the clock, a long bomb from Fev jsut outside the fifty misses to the near left, to even the scores.


Crows try to get it up to their end but run outta time, and we both leave with 2 points, 17.13 (115) a piece.


How I remember that, I don't know...but if that happens..well you read it here first
