Wearing the number 11 in that photo.
Goodness knows we're due a good number 11 !!
Nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Welcome lad.
If Kedge was to go there might be a couple ahead in the pecking order.
McGovern's social media has an 11 tacked on (birthdate?) and Kerr's grandfather being Carlton
royalty used to wear it.

Holy ****ing shit.

They let Owies sign up as a Cat B player.

I was certain, given his football pedigree, he'd be one that they pushed to the national draft.

Gun. I cannot understate how much I absolutely love this signing. Gun kid. Great human being. I'd be very surprised if he's not playing senior games in 2020.

For those wanting a pressure forward who can win his own ball, that's the position I suspect he has been headhunted as playing.

It's a different game but strongly built, excellent ball control, good aggression, competitiveness, confidence, skills and agility. If he can apply those skills to footy and can do the running required for AFL and if he has toughness, composure, good in traffic and footy smarts then you have a similar player to Tom/Sam Mitchell.

There's something in the way he moves and controls the ball that I really like in that video. Start him in the VFL, stick him on the ball and just let him go I reckon.

Basketball is a good game for getting your positioning and defending around stoppages right. It improves awareness and quickness of thinking when approaching a stoppage. I found it made me more aware of positioning in relation to where both my teammates and opposition are both offensively and defensively and using my teammates to defend, apply pressure and receive off.

Definitely looks like an onballer. What makes an elite footballer, particularly an elite midfielder is ball handling under pressure, if you don't have that you can't be elite but anyone who has that has a massive chance of at least being good and the way he handles the basketball is impressive.

Definitely keen to see him with the footy in his hands. It's a good signs that other clubs were interested. Makes me wonder if AFL clubs have been keeping an eye on him in a while.

Reads the play well, a good interceptor and good harassment, all good defensive skills, lets start him down back and see how he goes from there...

What can you tell us about him, Plow?

I actually had no idea who he was prior to this morning, AWG.

He seems to have some really high-quality athletic attributes and defensive tenacity, judging from his basketball clips.

Never seen him with a football in hand, will be an interesting project. Supposedly has a strong junior football background.

Ballsy move trying to make it as a barely 6 foot basketballer, 6 foot is modern day Muggsy Bogues size.

Being that small on a basketball court you’d need to have great agility and spatial awareness.

Competitive beast, I like those kind of words!!

Welcome Matt
