I would love Kreuzer to stay and have a huge pre-season and in 2016 become the premium ruckman. I think he can be better than NicNat. NN this year especially the second half of the season has been so valuable to WCE even through his personal tragedy. Last weekend was proof of that.

Better than Nic Nat? At what?

Matty bleeds navy blue, loves the joint. His doubts about resigning stem from the clubs desire to get a priority pick I reckon. Why wouldnt you explore your options if you think the club would prefer the pick. Despite the club saying hes required I think Matty might have felt a tad unwanted

That makes me think of Kennedy with the Judd trade.

Whilst I don't doubt MK loves the club, I think he and his manager would be smart enough to know BOTH parties MUST look after themselves, first and foremost. He has been very loyal to us, as has the club to him. I dunno what my point is, I'm just sure that whatever happens will not be acrimonious like Hendogate.

Humphrey has too much class for that.

Short memory, we didn't "get rid of" Grigg, he requested a trade when his contract ran out.

And good news about Kreuzer. I can't wait to see him next year. I'd rather have a big bloke that is all heart and soul on the field instead of taking a punt on a big forward that has only destroyed skinny little kids.

Yeah I thought with Griggy he wanted to leave because maybe he thought he'd have a better chance maybe at the Tiges of playing than getting into our side? :).

Eddie forhire tried not to give too much away on the radio this morning, but when grilled about the Pies cooling on Kreuz, he gave the impression that they still might be interested. Tried to be vague about it and move on pretty quick, but said something along the lines of "who said we aren't? The same source that tried to claim I was offering a job to somebody that I wasn't offering a job to?"

I think it's hard to say AFL for e.g can be very similar to Soccer a club may say we aren't interested in such & such a player anymore etc etc but really they're or certainly still thinking about it.And that makes perfect sense clubs I guess don't need to reveal exactly who they're persuing& play the game smartly:).

He has the resolve. He only knows one way. He will go hard every moment he plays or die trying.

Geez, if those are the only two options, I really hope he goes hard every moment he plays...

he got a head cut once and there was blue blood oozing out of the wound...damndest thing I ever saw. He literally bleeds Navy Blue. A medical freak if you ask me. Maybe an X-man.

i image this may constitute a failed medical at collingwood tho...

so let me get this whole story straight... Matty's foot is cooked real bad... can hardly walk and will be lucky to play a another decent game... but we have pumped him up and hope that a sucker will come along and pay him BIG. In turn this will net us a first round pick!

this is a great plan but surely no club would actually be stupid enough to ignore their doctors reports and sign him up anyway!

wait, hang on...

Stevie J failed medical at other clubs. Bet those other clubs feel silly now after the career he has had.

If fit I really believe Kruezer is in the best 4 or 5 ruckman in the league and 1 thing I believe Kruezer is better at than Nic Nac, Jacobs and Goldstein is kicking goals however you do have to be on the field to do this......

He failed a medical at Collingwood at the end of 2006, when the Cats were looking to offload him, & 3 premierships later, the Collingwood medical staff are still wiping egg off their face. One wonders if the same medical staff were responsible for testing Kreuzer.

Collingwood are right not risking a big money contract on Kruezer. Daisy Thomas anyone??

Egzactly.

Collingwood, Bulldogs, Richmond or Whoever....aren't saying Kruze is crippled. They're just saying he's not reliable enough for a large 4 year contract.

Which is egzactly what Carlton are saying as well.
