We have just got rid of Brent Hall, so why would we want an experienced clone, or then again, Tristen Walker is on our list already, and McCarthy is very similar. A big unit with not so great skills and has expierience at the top level only due to his height giving him a benefit.

McCarthy kicked 6 goals in a game this year (IIRC) but he is still useless. A good VFL player at best IMHO, and no point picking him up. If we don't get a tall forward in the draft, then maybe in the PSD. But I say NO.

Not good enough for a dud forward line crying out for someone to hold a mark. Simplistic yes but accurate nonetheless. Clement was just another Freo debarcle. Geelong haven't let many good ones go. They have kept the likes of Playfiar ahead of him. Just not good enough and we have enough forwards ourselves that need games. Keeping Walker doesn't justify getting more duds. I'd rather draft a kids with late picks and clear out our own duds.

as a geelong supporter I would honestly say I doubt he will be playing senior footy anywhere next year

Very good at VFL level, so if your VFL affiliate needs a strong marking tall forward, I'd definately consider him.
