Give him a break. Just left school, brave new world, injured twice, burdened with expectations & no home front that's close. Not easy for a young man in his situation. Some do and some don't manage. If that is the case, he tried and it didn't work out.
We lure players to come back to VIC too. And on top of that. Even if he stays wait until his next contract ends , we will have the same saga again in 2 years.

And I was of that opinion few months ago but after hearing this interview I don't know.

How hard was it for him to use the old and trusted "yeah the Club and everyone been very good to me" when asked whether he wants to stay with us?
Sounds like the best scenario for us he isn't sure what the future holds.

But trotting out the old motherhood statements does no more to guarantee he'll be at Collingwood in 2016 than what he said during his interview. Even a "yeah I'm keen to sign" is no guarantee.
