Didn't hear much about him over the past few years, i guess most folks expected Crossthwaite to consolidate his position and become the no.1 keeper for Vic. Crossthwaite has shown a lot of promise but never really kicked on from being a junior star.
Wade is 21 and 3 months, showing remarkable maturity with the bat, ahead of say where white was at the same age, and ahead of michael clarke at the same age also.
Wade has also shown an ability to bat in pressure situations, where wiser maturer players fail.
also behind the stumps looks very very competent.
He does seem a geniune wicketkeeper, who can bat competently, as opposed to a batsman who can keep.
Now again, its only his second season, 3rd year of playing FC cricket, but if he can continue this form, IMO the selectors should seriously look at him for a test berth in the next couple of years.
Haddin's batting is solid to good, he could probably make a lot of test sides on his batting alone, but his keeping is adequate at best.
