No it went to Owens from Essendon who had a massive gameHas he got the rising star yet this round. He has to surely.
Cheers. Don't worry, we want that port 2023 1st to be as close to pick 1 as possible and hope you guys get the better end of the JHF trade
Edit. I wonder if you didn't lose JHF, would sheezel have been your pick 1? Kniwing you had picks 2 and 3 it allowed a wardlaw and sheezel as it covered the talent and gap spots

Who gets DeKoning?
I wonder if Max gets the job on Curnow?186cm Doedee!
I wonder if Max gets the job on Curnow?
Imagine if Max did get the job and really restricted Curnow!!!!...still, on paper we can say anything, its on the day that counts but I'd back Max in in the form he is in to have first crackI was thinking that.
I'd pull the trigger and see how it goes.
Butts on DeKoning and Muzz on Harry.
Doedee to play interceptor

Same height, slightly different physique haha.
I would enjoy Max giving someone the Aiden Riley spear tackle though.Same height, slightly different physique haha.
So would Michael f*****g ChristianI would enjoy Max giving someone the Aiden Riley spear tackle though.
Yep, it’s not the 4cm height different but the massive gap in weight, strength and power. Curnow is a physical beast and would likely outbody Max IMO. Not that Max wouldn’t want the hardest match up but has been on agile, skilful indigenous smalls as you say (Bolton, Rioli, Walters).Max has been playing well on smaller types, Curnow would be too powerful for him
I haven’t watched much of Carlton but I heard yesterday that McKay plays more up the ground than Curnow, I would have thought it was the other way round given Curnows aerobic capacity.Yep, it’s not the 4cm height different but the massive gap in weight, strength and power. Murray to Curnow

Good point mate I just suppose Mc Kay at 200cm compared to Butts 198cm seemed better aligned, and Murray better suited to go with Curnows freak athleticism.I haven’t watched much of Carlton but I heard yesterday that McKay plays more up the ground than Curnow, I would have thought it was the other way round given Curnows aerobic capacity.
I reckon Murray seems more suited to McKay. Butts not suited to anyone currently![]()

Hard to say I am not worried by the Blues KPFs tonight.
of course midfield is always key but you aren't concerned at all by their forward talls (relative to our KPDs)?Week 8 - Inside 50's - 74 - McKay and Curnow have 14 scoring shots, 9 goals and 5 marks inside 50.
Week 20 - Inside 50's - 47 - McKay and Curnow have 5 scoring shots, 3 goals and 2 marks inside 50.
Winning the midfield battle is key.

Think we really need ROB to play much across CHB to help out.Absolutely we should be concerned about their talls up front, but our forward line overall is more dynamic.
I back Murray to do a good job, but one of the other talls may get off the chain.
How convenient big vic team McKay gets off a charge that we would have had our player suspended for every day of the week just in time to play us to open gather round...its almost like it was fateof course midfield is always key but you aren't concerned at all by their forward talls (relative to our KPDs)?

I thought for once the tribunal was going to do us a favour but alas things returned to normal and he got off, and may very well be the game winner tonightHow convenient big vic team McKay gets off a charge that we would have had our player suspended for every day of the week just in time to play us to open gather round...its almost like it was fate
Do they call them McKurnow?I haven’t watched much of Carlton but I heard yesterday that McKay plays more up the ground than Curnow, I would have thought it was the other way round given Curnows aerobic capacity.
