I see a young Ben Hart in defence and a young Rozee when he runs with ball. This kid, far out. Any possibility of moving into the midfield one day down the track? Moves so smoothly, a beautiful kick and great decision maker.
I reckon he might end up being even better than Hart. He has great attacking instincts and his forward entries are as impressive as any of the current players. I don’t recall Hart being as attacking as much, but that could be part of the older era where fullbacks were mostly at fullback.I see a young Ben Hart in defence and a young Rozee when he runs with ball.

Big call. Hart was one the greats.I reckon he might end up being even better than Hart. He has great attacking instincts and his forward entries are as impressive as any of the current players. Had MM been a potential pick 1 like Gibbs the other clubs would have made a fuss that technically MM wasn't eligible for our F&S selection like they did with Gibbs, even now Port Power supporters are crying so good thing he kept a very low profile during his draft year.....Remember when people were saying he'd go second round in the draft...and they were talking mid to late as well?
I do

Have you forgotten that Ben Hart was AA in his first 2 seasons - both earned by the time he was Max’s current age - Ben only turned 18 late in his first season. Max is already 19.I reckon he might end up being even better than Hart. He has great attacking instincts and his forward entries are as impressive as any of the current players. Yeah they are having a meltdown on the Smear board at the moment about it.Had MM been a potential pick 1 like Gibbs the other clubs would have made a fuss that technically MM wasn't eligible for our F&S selection like they did with Gibbs, even now Port Power supporters are crying so good thing he kept a very low profile during his draft year.....![]()
His younger brother is tracking as a top 10 pick so the AFL can't back-out this decision.......Yeah they are having a meltdown on the Smear board at the moment about it.
He wasnt eligible as a FS and shouldn't have been given the not by the AFL (Like they could of grabbed this mad Crows fan from a mad Crows family in the draft for Themselves).
I haven’t been this glowing of anyone after 5 AFL games since I’ve joined here. It’s not meant to be a direct comparison to Hart as a player, because it’s going to be hard to top those achievements. However, I do see him being rarely beaten in contests and he will be a much more attacking player than Hart had ever shown. If you partly agree with these statements, then I don’t think there’s a need to argue further but to just wait and see how his journey unfolds.Have you forgotten that Ben Hart was AA in his first 2 seasons - both earned by the time he was Max’s current age - Ben only turned 18 late in his first season. Max is the closest that I’ve seen to Ben Hart and is super exciting to watch at every contest! So glad that someone pointed out to the Crows that he was F-S eligible.
Max now just needs to play 312 games, 5 AAs, 3 B&F, 3 Premierships, mark of the year twice, 47 goals, a measly 13 Brownlow votes and achieve legend stays in the AFL Hall of Fame to go well and truly past Ben.
Makes it even sweeter.Yeah they are having a meltdown on the Smear board at the moment about it.

Who on earth told you that? His younger brother is tracking as a top 10 pick so the AFL can't back-out this decision.......
thats what i instantly thought when we played yous, moved so smooth and had some quick hands, definitely a talent whereever he playsThis kid, far out. Any possibility of moving into the midfield one day down the track? Moves so smoothly, a beautiful kick and great decision maker.
Perhaps someone should point them towards Brett Ebert?Yeah they are having a meltdown on the Smear board at the moment about it.

Was impressive of staying on Motlop's tail at their forward stoppages top. Gave him no room. Motlop's goal came from a block, from Curnow from memory.Held Motlop to one goal (it was a decent roving effort and good block by McKay to get Motlop the space after McKay dropped the mark) and about 32 flops.
Another blanketing performance, one without any fuss or big numbers but crucial for the team. And I mean that lace out to Tex * chefs kiss *
