I'd rather that then someone trying to claim a goal when it was clearly a behind (like Ryan Crowley @ Skilled last season, who stood in the goal square at the Wade Stand end and signalled a goal when his teammate missed).

Well I would too. To be fair the player often has as little idea as the umpire, and they'll usually give the benefit of the doubt their own way of course. Just part of the game really.

Well the game was done and dusted by that stage, a goal hardly mattered. The question is whether he'd have the temerity to do that in a game that's in the balance or when we're trailing. He better not. lol

yeah, they supposedly send that video and then "one week at a time" last night highlighted the pies players diving and playing for free kicks in the anzac match.
