MCC help

[Lance Uppercut]

Hi guys,

As many of you will know, I recently had an addition to the Bomber army, a big lump of a lad who I have earmarked to go all "Kav's Dad" on in the 2030 draft

What I'd really like to do though is put he and I on the MCC waiting list, but I don't actually know anyone who is a full member. I know there's a few of us Essendonians who are members, so what I wanted was some advice or even assistance in procuring some signatures so that I can join myself and my boy up.

Additionally, my best mate who is also an Essendon supporter had a son 4 weeks after I did, and it would be a bit of a dream to get them signed up as well...

I would appreciate any advice/assistance on how to go about this.

Not the best advice but you could get your relatives or mates to ask around, that's how I got my signatures. Although there maybe people on here willing to help you.

But you should be able to find two sigs fairly easily.

I am most certainly of repute (as much as a founder/director of their own business can be) If you were able to help me out I'd be happy to PM you and let you know who I am and what I do IRL (LinkedIn, Facebook etc) and would be grateful for your assistance

Without trying to deter too much of the spotlight from Lance's question, does anyone know what year they're up to in inviting restricted members. Brother (born in '89) got signed up on birth and has had it a while but I somehow didn't get put down til I was 8 (Year 2000). Frustrating wait, I assume it'll be another 4+ years yet

October 95 I think (as of a month ago).

I'm June 96, and I doubt I'll get there until at least the end of 2014. They've done 5 months in the past two years (June-Aug 95 last year, Sep-Oct 95 this year).

Gonna need an almighty heatwave or a significant act of god to get you in any time soon. 5-10 years at least I'd say, based on the speed of the last few intakes.
