Does McGregor stay in, or does Perrie return? Anyone else deserve a spot - maybe Gallagher? Did Ladhams do enough? Crowell is repotedly doing well in SANFL - watch out Massie perhaps?

Any thoughts on inclusions & matchups for this week against the Hawks?

Vital game BTW. Crows have got to keep the momentum going.

There should be no changes this week

McG did enough in the second half to keep his spot even though he was very lucky to get it in the first place but it must be a long term plan

Ladhams did not get much of a run and so should hold is spot as Nelson probably needs another game in the SANFL

I don't think we have too many match up problems against the Hawks and we should towel them up in ruck and in the midfield

Rehn is looking old and tired which is a real shame.

I was lucky enough on my weekend in Adelaide to see both the Crows and the Eagles. Two narrow wins in a day - it doesn't get any better than that.

McGregor did do enough in the second half after a horror first half. Perrie is worth a spot too; maybe Massie needs a run in the SANFL.

I saw Crowell on Saturday and he looked impressive. If he can keep stringing performances like that together, he will get his chance when the inevitable injury comes along.

It's great to have some depth.

My Thoughts

Stevo for Club Champion in 2002

My personal opinion is that Perrie and McGregor are on par with each other. I think that Ian is more of a forward and Ken is more of a defender, however both can be used at the other end of the ground if necessary. I would probably go with Kenny McGregor becuase I just think his hands are a bit more reliable than Ian's. Ken had a bad start to last weeks game but really knuckled down to have a terrific last half. He definately deserves another run and I think he is more of a long term prospect than Ian.

I don't think Chris Ladhams had much game time on the weekend and when he was on he didn't make any glaring mistakes. I would leave him in the side. I think James Gallagher is desperately unlucky but he just needs to keep up the good form with Norwood and should an opening become available then he will be ready to slip in.

I wouldn't make any changes to last weeks team. I think we should so some faith in the 22 who did the job last week if there is no injury worrys.

Go You Mighty Crows!!!

Perie and McGregor are both forwards really. They were both drafted as forwards and were used to begin with, as forwards.

They can both play back though, as has been proven. But I do like them both in the offensive half. Kenny has a great pair of hands (underrated), and Perie plays as a running forward as well as being a marking option in a pack/one on one situation.

Their kicking is the problem. Kenny has a nice kick, but lacks penetration and distance. Perie is erratic, and his helicopter kicks go through more with luck than accuracy.

Still, both have great potential and would be good to see them play and both ends.

Kenny is not mobile enough for CHF, but probably could play FF as he is a good mark & reasonable kick for goal. However, after his form over the last 1.5 games, he should be given a few more matches to see if he can hold down CHB (ie. he will be tested against Schwartz in the next game, as both Holland & Brown are down on form).

Perrie was unlucky to get dropped & has done an OK job down back, but I prefer him playing up forward. No reason why both players can't be picked.
