We seriously have to take a good hard look at some of our players and make some tough decisions, if we are ever going to move forward then we need to start to replace some of our mediocre or inconsistent players, ie. Jackson, shane Edwards has me humming and harring as does white, Griffiths, batchelor, dea even vickery is starting to give me doubts, Nahas is just outside consideration but as the tittle suggest McGoggles has to go IMO.

I have supported him for a long time now and I hate to say it but when he is on he is good but as in the last two games he has been rather terrible and if we are ever going to be a top side we need players that are way more consistent and that doesn't mean they have to kick goals, take jack for instance, even when he isn't kicking goals he's support around the ground is invaluable.

I just think the best thing to do at this stage is drop the players in the mediocre, inconsistent category and keep bring players in till we find players that can handle those positions, easy formula IMO (as long as they are available) but at this stage, McDumbledore has to go.

Edwards? No player, aside from Gary Ablett and maybe Swan plays well every week, and even they have the odd quiet one - keep it real man.

Depth is why we kept him for and that is exactly where he is at atm.. Got no problems with Luke and how the brains trust have taken action. He played well got games, played shit for a couple and gets dropped...thats par for the course and now we see someone else...kind of like that its not the Bean, but having said that kinda dissapointed it aint Griff or Elton too..they have to up the ante at Coburg and force the selctors hand...McBean is breaking the selectors hands, but they are baking him longer...

Dont forget he won us that game against the Blues

I think you have him mixed up with Yarren.

As far as i'm concerned he has been mcgone all year. He is just a stop gap until the young guys come through and we were lucky to get some ok performances from him and good on him for that, but he is no good.

At the start of the season I was thinking wow if Luke keeps playing like this A.Edwards won't get a shot and may not get re signed but Luke has had a couple of off games and was clearly down against the Bombers. I guess if A Edwards comes in and gets his shot we'll see if he has more to offer. But from what I've seen of Aaron he does'nt appear to have the defensive side to his game that Luke has. Does anyone know if he has improved this aspect of his game in the two's ?

that's why I said humming and harring, he's game has definitely lifted, the thing with Edwards is his turnover rate, i'm sure he would be in the top ten in the AFL, (can anyone get this stat?) we can't move forward with that happening!

To tell you the truth man..IMO **** the defensive side to his game..I am over this defensive side to our forwards games. We have enough in the FL who have a defensive side, we need someone who can ****ing attack..that is our biggest problem atm.

Swan has had a few stinkers this year. I'd say Jobe and Ablett are the 2 most consistent. Ablett is extraodinarily consistent. Untaggable and pretty much unstoppable. He is like a cheat in a video game. Best midfielder I have ever seen personally.

Who?

An agile StevieJ / Sloane / Rioli type player, or a Roughead / Podsiadly type?

Should be replaced by edwards this week and will be fighting against Elton, McBean and Griff to win his spot back.

On that note, Newy had Azza "promise" 6 goals on debut this week on inside tigerland, so that should be an upgrade on McGuanes output :P
