No. No. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We won't win now. That's how important he is.

Godfrey will retain his position now I guess FFS

I was optimistic about our chances on Monday... until I heard this.

We're full on screwed considering Ward or Read will replace him. Bring in Col I say. :thumbsd:

Oh come on, it's not great, but it hardly matches up to the possible 6 enforced changes Collingwood have had to make.

We're already definitely missing Dane Swan, Brodie Holland, Blake Caracella and Nick Maxwell, with Shane Wakelin and Guy Richards both under injury clouds.

If you really think that you CAN'T win now, then that's a concession that you would've had NO chance without Collingwood's injuries.

Chook is our best clearance player, sorry Jmac. He brings so much to our team and will be sorely missed.

Oh FFS, can either Brock or Sylvia catch a break with injuries? Must be extremely frustrating for both of them, not only us fans.

Shiezen, now greeny better get stuck in like chook and get a few clearances. Please Neale don't put Brucey on bucks. We need him to kick a few this week! Godders would be a good option. He could at least run with him when he's not on the pine.

Vinne come on man... Swan, Caracella, Maxwell, Holland, Wakelin... ahaha and guy richards!!!

these players dont even come close to Mcleans importance.. you have plenty of running backs like Obrien and Shaw who come in for Maxwell and Swan and do just as good a job.

Caracella is replaced by Thomas who is by no means an inferior player.... Wakelin if out could be important as could Holland.

but Mcleans injury here definately makes it hard for us.. i dont think you understand how good he is.. maybe you will in 2 years when he is an All Australian.

Good news for Collingwood this! You Melbourne people seem to rate Mclean very highly.

It will be a real test for the rest of our midfield. I think we are very reliant on Brock, perhaps overly reliant. Whilst this loss is a real shame, I'm now getting excited to see if Johnstone, Junior, Bruce, Bartram, Bate and even Read can stand up.

Yep big loss for the Dees, have watched McLean a bit this year and he has been playing fantastic. Theres no doubt Mclean is the biggest key out of the game - Dane Swan is having a All Australian type year also for ys but wouldnt be as important to our game plan as McLean.

Bit more confident now after feeling that we were definately due for a loss Monday.

**** **** ****.

Miller, Moloney, Sylvia, McLean, Brown, Ferguson, PJ and Wheatley are all in my best 22 for us and all out. we're fooked, i can smell some **** weeks coming up

Ah well thats pretty ****ed then isnt it!? With Moloney already out this is a massive loss...
dependant on the weather, melb actually have all in front of them and probably should win. We are due for a loss and the last few weeks, we havent been all that convincing. Tarrant back in the side will test you tho, not his scoring as such, but his scoring assists, they are more valuable than most realise.

Col Sylvia would obviously be the best replacement for you guys but if he's not up for it then I would love to see Phil Read get a game. I really like his tenacity. Don't believe he's played a game yet this year but I wouldn't mind having the hardness of him and Pickett in the same line-up.
