Collingwood use Eddie publicly for better or for worse and the overall results always seem to fall in their favor, so I don't mind at all what lethal and Swanny are doing.

i-phone? Turn i-messages off.Excellent work Sherlock!
...now find out why I can't send txt messages......can receive but not send.
(have rang Telstra who have no idea!)
Yeah normally it's an article mentioning Dayne Zorko with a photo of Lester or ReddenI'm more impressed that a gossip columnist got his name right. That's better than many football writers and sub editors who caption our stories can manage with our stars.

Actually, the tigers the previous week, drew 25,000 out of their 70.000 alleged members. We will all front up next week for more......if the Tigers supporters can do it so can we.
Like most, I'm flat as a tack today and desperately worried about my team and coach, but they are our other family, and you don't give up on families.
..might feel anger, disgust or whatever, but we keep coming back for more. You just do, thats how it is with families.
Good. Who is in the leadership group? Zorko, Rockliff, Beams, Merrett, Rich and Hanley? Rich and Hanley need a wake up call themselves."It is understood Brisbane’s leadership group met late into the night on Saturday and encouraged the coach to ignore reputations and swing the axe."

Good.
DANIEL Radcliffe — the British actor who played budding wizard Harry Potter in the box office smash movies — was at the Gabba on Saturday night.
He got on to the ground for the post-match kick-to-kick and probably conjured up more touches than Brisbane’s overpaid and overrated midfield.
The Lions on-ball division soaks up a substantial part of Brisbane’s salary cap but they again failed to deliver.
Collingwood dominated contested possessions (152-115), inside 50 entries (70-38), clearances (48-24) and centre clearances (20-9) as the Lions midfield was reduced to glorified spectators.
In another telling stat, Brisbane’s leading contested ball winner was 19-year-old Ben Keays, who was playing as a permanent forward in his third game at AFL level.
It was complete and utter garbage from the home side. The first quarter was so bad it was laughable.
I read that Rich came back early for pre season training and did a triathlon on the off season and it all sounded great. He signed a new contract at seasons start and seems to have gone straight back into pedestrian mode.
95 percent of Courier Mail sport readers want to read analysis about the Broncos and then have a quick chuckle at the ongoing plight of the Lions.
Andrew Hamilton's article offered very little in the way of analysis of where our list is. To just dismiss where they are as 'lazy spoonfed brats' is in itself lazy journalism. His solution of docking players their pay was just laughable. I want to read a more thoughtful measured analysis from a supposed expert. It looked as if he knocked up that article in about twenty minutes.
I didn't learn much more from Greg Davis' article either. Why didn't Davis take the opportunity to go through each of the Lions' midfielders and offer his 'expert analysis' of where they are under-performing? To merely state they are under-performing is stating the bleeding obvious. Tell me where he thinks Bell, Rich, Bastinac, Robinson, Hanley, Zorko, Beams and Rockliff are and the areas they need to improve. Give me some thoughts on the state of our backline and our forward line.
That may be so, but both articles were published in the Melbourne Herald Sun also. Frankly I expect better from the so-called 'experts'.
I agree with a lot of what you said here but also think at least he had the balls to finally say the players have been getting away with mediocrity for far too long now.
I don't mind Davis or Hamilton saying exactly that, but I also want some specific details on that mediocrity both in the Collingwood game and previously.
For example is Bell working hard enough in the clinches to win the contested ball? Is he failing to get his hands on the ball or is his disposal letting him down? Is Bastinac playing an inside midfielder's role or is he being played as an outside midfielder which by all reports is not his strength. Is Rich or Hanley better suited to a half back flank role rather than in the midfield? Did Robinson have an off game against Collingwood? Was the Lions' contested ball wins down from previous weeks? Does Keays need to be moved into the midfield? What was Beams' impact before his injury flared? How did the forward line function, if the midfield did manage to get it into the inside fifty? What impact did McStay's late withdrawal have on the defence? Were Collingwood's players just quicker than Brisbane's or did they show more grunt and presence of mind in the clinches? Is Leppitsch's game plan not working because of a lack of skill or lack of desire?
All we really got was 'lazy spoiled brats'.
Agreed, our midfield which are meant to be "experts" in their chosen field were absolutely pathetic on Saturday night and they were definitely under performing in every category you want to look at.
