hello hello all you Eagles fans out there...

I'm moving to Melbourne from Perth in 6 weeks so I was wondering if anyone in the board had an Eagles membership in Melbourne? I want to get my membership when I get over there but I was wondering if anyone could give me an insight into what its like to be a member over there and whether you get to go to many games, cost, etc...

thanking you...

Sam

It doesn't list the prices, but if memory serves me right, its around the $110 mark. It probably changes yearly, depending on how many games we play in Vic.

I've been a member in Perth and Melbourne and the advantage of the Victorian membership is the greater access to the players (just because there are less supporters over there).

The aftermatch functions have a relatively small number of people so you can actually meet the players and the staff and talk to them if you want to.

Depending on when you move and when the Eagles are over, they usually have a Family Fun Day after one of the pre-season games (whether a WhateverCup game or a practice match), typically a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Hope you enjoy it.

Pfffffffffftt!! Hell no!! Wash your mouth out with soap! :D

Eagles girl thru and thru since I understood how footy worked (about 1990 at the ripe age of 10).

Thankyou so much to everyone that has replied on this thread...

And thankyou so much Daddy 4 Eyes for that info (why I did not think of checking the site myself I do not know  )

And I definately agree that I might find it easier to actually talk to the players next year - don't stand a chance in Perth (down with teeny-boppers).

sure why not? :D (getting grand final tickets might prove to be a major obstacle though!)

You can get anything with the right amount of money! :D

Fortunately/unfortunately, I think we all have a fair bit of time up our sleeves to start saving the money!! ;)
