If you complain, you will receive:

With the change of databases all members have a new account ID.

When changing over the member since dates got mixed up, I have fixed
that up for you now.

Thanks for your continued support.

Same problem member since date wrong.

Will they fix the dates for everyone so it is correct on the 2011 cards, or do I need to ask for it to be fixed.

Not fussed about getting new card for this year, as long as it is correct for 2011 & beyond.

You'll need to bring the error to their attention. She gave me the impression that they were only correcting their database for now, so it will only come through on the 2011 cards.

Still haven't resigned. My account number and password won't work. Can't be bothered ringing them up either as that requires almost human contact!

18, 811? that's pathetic, what is going on? even melbourne have more members, i really do hate bandwagoners

We're actually about 2000 ahead of where we were this time last year. Melbourne were also ahead of us but finished about 11,000 behind.

Collingwood is ridiculously high at the moment - 37k but I'm guessing that's because of auto-renew, which quite a few clubs use.

Guys if you're having problems with the member since date either drop in or give them a call (even though it goes to a call centre these days  it's manually entered into a box on the database that they can change straight away.

Also, like Subby said it costs the club money and time to reprint (even though they should be done right in the first place) so if you can hang on a year get them to change it next year. Mine was wrong last year so I'll make a point to have it corrected this year.

so if our member joined date is wrong this year, does that mean they have it wrong in their systems and we need to tell them to fix it or can it be assumed it'll be fixed next year?

You need to tell them, otherwise it will always be wrong.
