Hey guys, rang through to the Carlton Membership office to find out what our current numbers are. The lady said that on the 9th March (Last Friday) we were a touch over 24,000. Thats fantastic. Well done to all of us who have signed up, and to those of you who havent signed up just yet, well WHAT THE BLODDY HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Ive started a poll to see what you think will be the membership numbers if we win before Round 1.

Probably not the most exciting poll but not that busy at work

HAHA.

GO BLUES.

I dont care what number it gets to, i just hope the club take a decent approach, like the renewal thing Essendon do. There is no excuse anymore for losing members, it's just laziness and lack of organisation.

I'll be really p1ssed off with Carlton if they dont' get their bums into gear and figure something out.

26,000... wouldnt expect much in a week or 2...
maybye 27

I agree.
Tend to think that we'll be around the 26K mark by the start of the H&A season.

Pretty damn good effort for a club that has won back-to-back spoons.

Really great to see the membership so high at this stage. We have a fantastic opportunity now to increase it some more.

I'm not expecting huge increases due to us being in the final, but it will make an impact. I'm expecting maybe 1,000 more supporters to jump on board-that would be a fantastic bonus for the club. Anything more than that would be an absolute bonus.

supposedly it's close to 25,000 now

thats from the 9th of March

also, that's not really close to 25,000 :)

Is posted today at 25,011.

Reckon there will be quite a few sign up Sat night, and many more through next week, esp if we win.
First game is a home game so probably more on the day.
I reckon 28k + if we win Sat night.

I reckon we could nearly hit 30,000 before round 1.

That would be a pretty special if that happened, but IMHO, I think that might just be a little bit out of our reach. I did say about 26K a little while ago, but if we win tonight, plus the home game against Richmond in round 1, and the fact John Nicholls will be leading the team out, might mean we are somewhere between 27K-28K by round one.

Still a good effort.
And i know itsd a while into the future but the marketing and membership department need to get there fingers out. Carlton should have 35+ regardless.

hopefully this will shame the jump of the band wagon to make em with they hadn;t jumped off :thumbsu:

good to see fev with Mia :)

Two things from tonight:

  1. It ay be nothing, but I saw a lot of people with members hats from 04 and 05 outside the gates getting tickets - hopefully taking renewed interest after dropping off - hopefully convinved to re-sign.
  2. Went to the footy with my cousin tonight, who aftyer months of me hounding him paid up for a membership tonight. It was VERY busy - good signs.
GO BLUES!!!!:) :thumbsu: :) :thumbsu:

There was 46.000 people at last night's game so 40.000
would have to of been carlton supporters.
I hope most of the people there apart from the 25.000 who
have already brought memberships bloody sign up.
To attract 2 huge crowds the last 2 times we have won the cup
and to always be around the 30.000 membership mark annoys
me big time.
I think all us members have to get stuck into the people we know
who don't buy memberships and make sure they buy one!
