Membership-What Do I get?

Not for me... I got a Bronze Membership and I am quite content to sit back... but as part of my package I got a scarf with 2007 Member embossed in yellow .... and a few other things.

Now my brother has been a member for over 10 years and he said he didnt get one of those scarves. In his words '' spewing''. But he also raised a few other points

Is there anything to indicate those members of long standing? ie a 10 year pin or 15 year pin or scarf etc? And of those inaugural members who are still going I would like to see some recognition for them as well

I got a boundary line membership for 50 bucks and even I got a scarf!

BUT... if i got a Victorian based membership to get entry to the seven matches, I wouldn't have got it. Hence getting the boundary line. I couldn't guarantee I'd make all matches anyway and i wanted a swish new scarf.

What about the portable radio (headphones included) tuned into 5AA

The Gold members get a scarfe this year, but the silver members didnt.

Adelaide has always been poor in what it has given members and no you dont receive anything for being a long term member. My mum (who passed away in Nov 05) was a season ticket holder from the first year and had never received anything. I have had a season ticket from the start, but only recently transferred it into my name, but no you dont get anything for being a long term member of the club.

That was terrible, I dont know whether they still work or not because it wasn't the AM broadcast that you listened to, it was a short wave fm signal that was retransmitted at the stadium on the FM band so I am not sure whether they are still doing that or not.

The A caps was one of the worst things I have ever seen, surely they could have tossed up a bit more cash and got some half decent caps with something actually embossed on there (preferrably the actual work Adelaide or Crows and not A) and maybe people would have actually worn them. I got a blue cap and thought how crap does this look and that it would have cost the AFC about 50c to produce and binned it immediately.

I got the scarf as a Boundary Line member along with all of the other little things you get.

As an AFL member with Adelaide Club Support the club sent me a pin and some other little thing.

I get more from my membership at Centrals than at the Crows - and for half the price and double the games.

Example - This year, Centrals gave its members a magnetic program like the Crows did last year, but the Crows gave us the piece of card with a magnet on it which looks like a calendar from your local MP. It's only a small example, but for the money we pay for the memberships, we deserve more.
