Loved it! But would have preferred to have been on the floor (especially for Spit it Out) and maybe in the circle of death.

How did you find it?

Awesome as always. I'm a bit sick of having to do the Spit It Out thing though, it was fun the first few times, I've never seen it from afar though, would look pretty cool :)

There was a circle pit? I didn't notice. I thought it was a little tame in parts, but that was due to song selection, they garner the same reaction each time, so it's a bit annoying they persist with them.

I guess Corey needs a break every now and then though :p

What'd you think of the drummer? it's hard to tell much difference between him and Joey, he's unbelievable .

Agree it was a tame show but I thought that was because Clown wasn't there and the play set was adjusted to suit. Happy they played Skin Ticket.

Tbh I would have had to have seen Joey play live to comment properly. But I will say the best drummer on the night was Chris Adler from Lamb of God :p

The circle pit wasn't large, just mostly pushing and shoving. It was massive for Lamb of God. If you didn't want to participate in Spit it out you could have swapped spots with me :p as the people next to me were a bunch of squares.

Skin Ticket was amazing, I've been listening to it all day :) Custer was my other highlight, but it didn't go off as much as the first time I saw it.

That's why you never get seats for a metal gig bots! :p

I actually hadn't heard that song before and I even have the freaking album! :$

New Metallica album coming out in a couple of weeks Geelong_Sicko.

Re: Atlas, Rise!

Lars is looking oldddddd.

James still has it :D

His vocals are sounding damn good too. Looking forward to hearing the album in full.

Lars looks like Billy Crystal imo and it sounds like Kirk is using a wah pedal with the lead break which isn't my cup of tea.

Think it will take me a few listens before I can enjoy it. Although the live recording they did in Columbia wasn't bad.

Modern Metallica I just can't really get into. Didn't like the St Anger album and Death Magnetic was only ok.

Yeah, what I've heard so far is okay, I'm just wondering what the album will sound like as a whole. I think I prefer the first song they released over the latter two.

I loved St Anger, I know I'm in the minority there but I think it was the culmination of seeing them play at that time plus the movie etc that bumped it up.

Old Tallica' is unbeatable though, pity we can't all turn back time.
