Going to the Palace gig, not such a huge fan, but am over for the United-Victory game and mate wants to go, so why not. I'm sure it will kick arse though.

Saw them play a set at Pukkelpop (Belgium music festival) this weekend. Seriously good. The 45 minutes went very quickly.

I've given this album a couple of spins and unfortunately, I'm a little underwhelmed. It's well produced etc but it just hasn't 'grabbed' me like I was expecting it to.
I'll give it a few more listens but at present, I'd find it hard to recommend it to someone else. Sounds like something I've heard many times before, there's nothing that makes it stand out from the average/ordinary for me.
"Kids" is a pretty good track even though it is a bit repetitive.
Maybe it's got something to do with my age ??

I cant believe it. was hitting f5 like no tomorrow at 8:59 and as soon as the box came up that said 'buy now' i hit it. tried ordering 1 ticket.. 1 lousy ticket and then thing said they were sold out.

Tickets for MGMT's Australian tour sold out in under ten minutes when they went on sale a couple of weeks back.
So their Sydney and Melbourne shows have been moved to bigger venues to allow more fans to catch them live.
Sydney’s Enmore Theatre performance will now take place at the Hordern Pavilion.
Melbourne’s Palace Theatre performance will now take place at Festival Hall.
Tickets for the original shows will be valid at the new venues.
The additional allocation of tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 5 September.
Unfortunately there are no additional tickets for the Brisbane or Perth shows.

i wouldn't worry mate. if last year is any clue, they'll be desperately trying to flog tix on rrr come november/december.They were announced for the Meredith line-up today. I missed out in the ballot after going the last three years
