Even in the eagles heyday of the mid-2000s there was barely any police involvement when there were incidents, yet it seems they jump at any chance to get involved with Freo players

And the media jump at the chance to beat it up compared to the eagles back in the day too.

Yep with them it was either not reported by the media, or the police didn't bother - with us the cops jump on it straight away and the media are all over that s**t

Can't have the brand of the state's team being tarnished. You can see how well they are protected when their ex-players get in the s**t - the media throw the book at them once they've left

It could be anything. Police involvement could be anything, from an assault charge to a move on notice to a witness of something that happened to someone else. Was anyone missing at training this morning (from those who have already started training)?

Fremantle defender Michael Johnson in under investigation for an alleged assault in Leederville in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The alleged victim, a Bunbury-based teacher, reported the incident at his local police station this afternoon.

He handed over a video of a man, claimed to be Johnson, with his pants down in a Leederville shop.

He claimed he was spotted filming the incident and was struck by the 31-year-old Docker in the ensuing argument.

A statement from Fremantle said they would not be commenting on the situation.

"We have been made aware that Fremantle player Michael Johnson, who is on leave, was allegedly involved in an incident in Leederville at the weekend," the club said.

"We are in the process of gathering all relevant information.

"We are not in a position to comment further until that process has been completed."

Small incident , worse come to worse out of leadership group and replace by walters. Compare to cousins era and his current situation is nothing .
