Did anyone read his article in Full Time today?

1. "Flying high - but let's not get carried away yet".
2. "Who is to say that the Crows are not to crumble in the approach to September's finals...even with all those games at home in the next eight weeks"
3. "Perhaps Fremantle did Adelaide, and its heady supporter base that is already planning out September, a big favour yesterday".
4. "Perhaps second spot flatters Adelaide"
5. "Adelaide is far from perfect - it is a forward short of being a premiership side".

I'm sick to death of Rucci's articles, its obvious he has no respect for the Crows. How great it is to see his beloved Power playing such appauling footy!

Dont read it if that was port in our postion the flag would already be theres.Just the same as the 5aa "sports " Show listen to it for the first time in ages cause of the johncock saga and still very negitave towards us.Same as rucci if the mighty power was in our postion kg would have them celebrating the flag already.

DONT READ RUCCI i gave up long ago and it looks like nothing has changed.

Number three especially infuriates me. Yes I am confident we can go deep into September, and why not? The majority of our team has played finals footy, and what teams other than West Coast can honestly say the've been playing as consistant as the Crows? There's no reason not to be excited. The Power win three in a row and we might as well give them the Cup again!

To be taken with a grain of salt but there is some accuracy there...

1. I agree.
2. Possibly if injuries deal us a poor hand, but unlikely otherwise.
3. I agree.
4. Peter Cavan ring any bells?

Classic Rucci who believes that if he says it it is either true or will happen, a la the second point:

2. "Who is to say that the Crows are not to crumble in the approach to September's finals...even with all those games at home in the next eight weeks"

Talking out your backside Rooch, even though you'd love it to happen.

The rest of the article has some truth in it though. We're not that good, but on the other hand it might just be the year that you don't have to be.

I'd back us to beat WCE on the MCG on the last Saturday in September if we were lucky enough to get that far.

Well we better get used to it cause with what has come out today he is going to have a field day. But don't know how many people saw it here but best laugh I got for a long time was on Fox footy's Saturday central program where Dunstall and Wayne Carey talk to footy writers around the country and Rooch was going on about something, Carey turned around and said, "well maybe your club should worry more about their onfield performance than what jumper the Crows are wearing in a few weeks time." Rooch was speechless was fantastic!

That reminds me the sunday after guru rooch listed his top 50 5aa was talking to tony leonard and a guy on aa said rooch listed his top 50 and tony said who is the other 8 apart from ports 42

Rucci is just annoyed we are going so well, because he can't sink the boot in as much as last year.

I would only worry about criticism if it came from someone I respected.

Considering he is "Adelaide's Chief Football Writer" his obvious bias is a disgrace. On the rare occasions that he writes a positive article about the AFC he still finds away to slip in a few cheap shots.

There are some in the Adelaide media such as Goers, Nicole "slapper" Cornes and Rucci who have an obvious agenda and hatred of the AFC and feel the need to vent at every opportunity. It seems even the famous amongst the Port supporter base have huge chips and inferiority complexes like the rest.

Rucci is a slimey little man lacking in any credibility even from his peers.

can someone pointout to me which dominating key forward the westcoast posesses that makes them a clear cut premiership favourite, yet because we lack a key forward we cant win? Welshy is above any WCE player on the goal kicking tally. Geelong for that matter dont have a dominating key forward either.

Have you ever thought that all Rucci's does is try to stir the pot ala KG & Cornesy?

What do you want the guy to do come out and say how everything is rosy at crowland? Of course he isn't going to, his job is to report the sports news as he sees it and not a lot of people are going to agree with him espically if they don't like what he says but at least he gets people talking about whatever he writes in the paper, very much like KG & Cornesy on the radio do.

Now the AFC at the very least should be aiming for a grand final berth at the moment if you consider the position (2nd) they're in at the moment and that they should finish in the top 4 at the end of the season and will get at least 1 home final, possibly two.

Exactly Stiffy - both Rucci & the obsession with him. Let it go people as it's just not worth it!!!

Exactly right cause the slimball will be reading this thread and rubbing his hands together with glee that he is getting to the AFC supporters, which is his whole motive.

Get over the obsession with Rucci.
Point 1 is exactly what Neil Craig and the club keep telling us. Things have gone well so far but lets not get carried away. We aren't even guaranteed of playing finals yet.
Point 2 is a bit of cobblers, but who does know what will happen. We haven't really been tested with either injury or suspension at this stage.
Point 3 is a point that I agree with. Sometimes a wake up call when you still win a game is a big favour.
Point 4 can be argued - at this stage last year St Kilda had 11 wins, Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne all had 10 wins. We have won 9 games and would have been sitting 5th. We have benefited from a very even year.
Point 5 is 100% true - how would you liked to have had Pavlich on the end of our dominance of general play? We do not get the rewards for our hard work and it has brought us undone in games this year.

Rucci is so obviously biased against the Crows. You only have to look at today's article, Crow Faces Charges to see his bias come through. No Crow player could possibly have done what this article claims Stiffy has done. Rucci has obviously just made this up to deflect attention from how bad his beloved Port are playing at the moment.
