The most interesting thing Ratts said was that Carlton shouldn't lower it's expectations because it has a new coach. It is the same group of players and Carlton should still be aiming for a top 4 finish next season. Subtly put the pressure back on Malthouse.

Dissapointed that I didn't hear him slip in an "Early Doors" one last time when talking about Carlton.

Just went in there and they are doing a run through in preparation. Two Carlton staff members sitting at the table saying things like Carlton are going to play in the VAFA and we are over the cap .... again.

Was hoping it wasn't general discussion but more of a joke. haha. Some funny guys in there. Next guy counts to 15 and said that is all he knows and all he has taught his kids.

I think it was fair comment though. He was sacked because he did not meet expectations. Unless we are willingly putting ourselves back a couple of years in order to go forward, we must reach the level we thought we were at right away, injuries not withstanding.
