List Mgmt. Mid-season draft 2025

Seems like the first time we’ve used the MSD in a ruthless fashion.

Put three on ice.

Got three players that could fill a need now and will add to the reserves.

Also kept two on short contracts so can move them on if needed at year’s end.

It probably says more about this year's draft than anything. We are getting players in so we have options at the end of the year and aren't picking at pick 100 in a weak draft.

Graham Cornes is seething and already penning an article you'd imagine hopefully a mouse shits in his cornflakes overnight to complete the picture.

If the Adveriser were smart they would just preloaded AI with old Cornes articles and save themselves some coin.

ngl was hoping this bloke would have gotten a call up, injured but looks extremely solid and pretty athletic for 200cm 110kg at 19.

Norwood must be spewing. Van Wyk wanted out because Harry Boyd owned the #1 ruck spot, then Harry gets picked up by St Kilda. Then Norwood bring over Sydney ruckman Lachlan McAndrew and the crows swipe him to cover for losing Strachan.

Good highlights, he could get a look in somewhere. Thought Essendon might have had a look at him.

I think we've done well in the MSD.
A fair whack of potential.

I'm reading the crystal ball and Josh wants a fast game style because we've picked up some fast players recently like Berry, Lai, Liddy and MacKinley.
Pace has been an issue for us for a while.

no watkins, wonder how that affects butters?
Bitcho believes that Butters is one of the players leaving because their Daddy is no longer the coach so adding his mate to the AFL list would have no effect on his decision to leave.

They all speak so well. Ramm certainly sounded the most starry eyed I guess, but he is the youngest too. His enthusiasm is infectious.

Picking up three proven SANFL players, Manni Liddy, Harrison Ramm and Ewan Mackinlay, should strengthen the Port Magpies and weaken Centrals, Glenelg and North Adelaide. The mid season draft may be better for the Port Magpies then it is for the Power. A key defender and two mid fielders should not go astray.

Mid-season draft is 2 weeks away - will be held on 28 May.

At the moment we don't have a list spot open, but there is an option to move a player onto the LTI.

So which players would you look closely at, if we do dive in?

I won’t remember, so next year when the mid-season draft thread is started, can someone else please remember to tag BlackWing in a post and ask him who’s playing well for Centrals that we can take?
