I’d say more to be honestSuper reliable. Strong overhead. Strong tackler. Hard to tackle. Great breakaway speed. Can play multiple positions. Easily a top 10 pick.

Good comparisonEd Richards vibes from this bloke.
Bergman to Victoria has all the hallmarks of the media going with ' Bulldogs in the hunt for Port young gun' but ending up 'Hawks secure Miles Bergman on multi year deal'

You are entitled to your opinions as we all are but he was pick 14 in his draft year and has only increased in value. If his kicking was better Port could absolutely command a top 10 pick, saw 4 kicks that, although hit targets, were horrendous. (3 were kicks over a defender that dribbled to a team mate)
Id offer up a pick in the teens for him but even then, Essendon have enough shit kicks
thats ok, thank you for a decent replyYou are entitled to your opinions as we all are but he was pick 14 in his draft year and has only increased in value.
Say we were interested, would something like pick 5 for Bergman and Ports F1st be ballpark?
More Jordan Dawson IMOEd Richards vibes from this bloke.
If you get Bergman for pick #5 you take thatPick 5 would be the starting point from Port.
Would probably end up as pick 5 plus some later swaps in our favour.
Pick 5 and a future 4th for Bergman and a future 3rd sort of stuff.
I would do the worse of our two first rounders for him straight up though.
Hahahaha, our future 1st could easily be a top 5 pick, especially if we lose Bergman it doesn't exactly help our cause. You'd basically be getting him for freeSay we were interested, would something like pick 5 for Bergman and Ports F1st be ballpark?
At the time Rankine was traded he didn’t have many runs on the board. Held his value on potential and being a top 3 pick originallyBut ain't no Rankine who was traded for pick 5.
I mean, his second half.......

Rankine was ranked the most influential small forward in the 2nd half before requesting a trade to us. Drew said he was training as a midfielder and the plan was to transition him but he got injured early in the year and now has shown he can play midfield at the elite level. I initially thought we did overpay for him and he was around pick 10.Is 10-14 touches, 1-3 goals, 2-3 tackles, 2-3 marks and zero signs of playing any midfield supposed to be top 5-10 pick worthy there? And that was his BEST patch of footy.
Geez what an idiot lmao.Say we were interested, would something like pick 5 for Bergman and Ports F1st be ballpark?

No, we wouldn'tIf you get Bergman for pick #5 you take that
This guy is a very good player. I'm not sure why people underrate him.
Please, I’m begging you, stop stinking up every thread you post in.I mean, his second half.......

Using draft value index as an argument when they only apply to bid points......No, we wouldn't
because pick 5 using the new draft value index is equal to the 2024 pick 6
then take into account the blow out of FS & NGA and academies picks this could push that pick out a lot more.
with the new draft value index coming into play at the end of the year - all players are now worth more.
This is the houston argument all over againNo, we wouldn't

Port will take pick #5 and move on
