The reasons the rfc are on fire now is
1 Rance And Lids are now fully fit
2 ivaaaan Maric is now just about 100% fit and has reinstated Hampson spot where we played a man short for half a season(huge factor)
3 Miles replacing Griggs where we needed a midfielder with inside grunt and Ellis is now doing Griggs job with run and more desire
4 TV coming to form as our ruck/fwd combo
5 game plan back to 2013 reinstated

4 is has alot to do with better ball movement.

Oh deary

We are winning mainly due to having on the park, fit and healthy Ivan, lids, and rance. We are winning as Foley has regained semblance of form and in combination with Miles they have covered the crash and bash in the center that jackson used to provide. We are winning as the coaching group were disciplined enough to drop Vickery for not just one week, to force the penny to drop.

Ellis finally has taken Griggs wing role. Vlastuin has got better as a player.

The game plan is not the 2013 model, FFS, makes me frustrated hearing that. The game plan was never the issue. Hardwick did not instruct the players at the start of the year to kick sideways, backwards, and slow everything down. The players did that due to missing 6 out of our top 10 players for a good chunk of a 10 game period.

Port for example, lost only 3 of there starting 22 and lost 3-4 straight.

The reason we are winning is that the boys have confidence ( due to leadership thats on the park instead of in the re hab room) to run forward and actually implement the game plan the coaches have outlined
My 5 points are more to the point
;)

At the end of the day Im very glad they waited on Miles. Much rather he was over cooked than under. Rather the club continues with that type of philosophy than the opposite. We grabbed the eqivalent of brownlow winners from the next level down & they still didnt make it. So ripping up the next level down is no guarentee. Club has standards maybe above & beyond that and I'm glad. Im most of all glad as Ive previously mengioned that we took a punt on Milsey... Go Tiges !!

The spin on this thread continues to grow
Maybe they're thinking if they spin the sugar often enough they might end up with fairy floss

So the latest spin is poor skills LMFAO since we've carried Houli Petterd Thomas Hampson all before him when he was continually working his craft
Come on guys give me a break and go and ruin another thread

Amen

All due respect to Miles...he's not the messiah....
Just a dirty grunter ala Tucky....
Acccording to the spin on here Miles had deficiencies such as fused toes , a hunch back, one testicle ,tiny arms with giant baseball mitten hands and An Arse that dragged along the ground:(
Then miraculously in 3 months DH and his band of merry men transformed him into Gary Ablett Jr:)
Well done supercoach now work on Griggs Houli and Sheds;)
Maybe he is some form of Messiah

Could you imagine how far up his clacker the media would've been if he went to another club in the 2013 off season ?
It just that our players forgot to train in the off season that we had to hold him back. "Maric" said so on radio

:)
Perth took a lot out of Miles I think. He played tired today but even though he was not at his best, he still performed well. Well done by the kid. God knows, we will need his grunt on Friday night
Good point Tig71 as it was a slog.
This guy is also showing leadership qualities on the field. It helps when you play next door to Cotchin
I'm envious of the forum guy with the name 26_Miles . It would have been much better than TigerImposter:(
Oh well looks like I'll have to wait around 20years for a Father -Son Pick:)

He's an inside extractor/clearance player and it was a relatively open game with not many stoppages - hardly surprising he didn't rack 'em up. Did his bit but wasn't as important. His value is when we play sides like Sydney and tough finals-style footy, not in free-wheeling, uncontested strolls in the park against bottom sides.

I think we will allow Miles to have a below average game with how well he plays normally. My SuperCoach side didn't enjoy it though. :(

Nor did mine. Will probably cost me my SC Draft prelim with his 42. Was he tagged or just flat from the perth slog?? Can't complain though, the kids been huge for me.:D

Looked exhausted. Plus I think he was tagging ward for chunks of the game.

Why wait ? How about Miles(RFC MKII), new and improved....Just to get the ball rolling ;)

Still can't believe GWS couldn't find a spot on their list for him yet then recruited Josh hunt lol
Lol yer it's ridiculous. I'm so sick of the media saying how talented they are if he was ranked outisde their top 40....well let's face it...his ranking clearly wasn't relative to his football output. A little bit like James Magner from the Dees, got delisted yet they brought in a guy like Cross...just doesn't add up. Clubs goof. They goof'd. We win. More please

miles has had priddis and ward for the last 2 weeks and has been sliced up by a couple of very good plodders who run hard and find the pill, good reality check for a few on here that were so far up his arse it was embarrassing, considering the crap petterd, thomas and grigg cop.......

milesey has been a great plus for us this year but just sayin 'still a long way' to go son.
