Anthony snipper miles comes across well and you can tell he was pissed at getting cut from the giants and has worked hard to get where he is

The only deficiency he mentioned he had which caused his delisting was his running ability or probably no tank
Skills and kicking were not mentioned, running ability was mentioned twice. Yep I agree the guy you need match conditioning and time to build up a tank
What a nice kid. It's kids like this we need to build a positive culture at the club
Great get Tigers

He was smiling because after the way he's played recently, he's now 100% sure that we will sign him for a few years on a decent contract. And so we should!
Him and Cotchin are just awesome working together
I'd give him 3 years as he deserves it plus he's young and could be a ten plus season player

Bring in Whiley next year, although Miles effort may put him into the spot light a bit. But i don't think he was as good at senior level for GWS as Miles was.

Hasn't played this season and only played 7 last season, averaging 7.6 disposals and 6.6 tackles a game playing off the half backline.

All kids from Gws and suns are worth a look They will be young cheap and of bugger all risk. They are all starved of opportunities bc of all their first rounders and recruits
Idiots pay a bomb for Scully and they had Miles playing second grade hahaha

Any time anyone is feeling shitty about our recruitment....just remember the Scully deal :D

Nahh, the Scully deal had the heck frontloaded out of it and is fine - it certainly hasnt stopped us re-signing a bunch of kids.

But it's great to see Miles did well ... we said you'd love him, and you do. Make sure you pick up Whiley when he's let go as well.

I think we might just grab WHE & O'Rourke whilst we are at it thanks

What can you tell us about Whiley & has he played much in the seniors, why/why not ?? Cheers

Stop me if you've heard this before.

He's not especially quick, not especially accurate by foot, and he doesnt have any particular standout features that breaks into a midfield full of high picks.

Does that remind you of anyone ?

It doesn't hurt to dream we could land 2 of em, cheers :thumbsu:

"My running ability was probably the main thing and then they touched on a few other things. It was a pretty tough time."

But instead of saying the Giants overlooked his talent, Miles believes his improvement has come from sheer hard work.

"I'd like to think I've improved. I went away after being delisted and worked on what they thought my deficiencies were," he said.

"I hooked up with a running coach back home, my uncle, and did some work there and the Tigers have been great for my development as well.

"The thing for me to was just to first-hand witness how these guys go about it. 'Lids' (Brett Deledio) and 'Cotch' have been great just to watch what they do on the track and in the weights room.

"Nathan Foley has been fantastic for me – he played his 150th on Friday night and he's been a great mentor for me as well."

Do we know if Miles qualifies for the Rising Star award this year - can he receive a nomination? (apols if this is answered elsewhere on here, I couldn't find it).

How do you rate Toby Greene? Seems they were competing for a similar spot on the list, with Toby having a bigger tank but far worse disposal? How do you reckon he will come on next year?
