Miller for Aker?

Would you trade Miller for Akermanis. I say no way but what are everyone elses thoughts?

First thought is no.
Miller, no matter how maligned he is, is very important to us when playing well. He provides us with some real structure when at CHF and allows Neita to play from the square. Dunn is the future (either FF or CHF), but for the time being we need Miller there.
Personally, I don't think Aker will give us anything we dont already have.

do it before miller becomes a liability. PJ will be better than Miller for futures sack, and premership threats have players who step up and put goals on the board when needed, Aker does, Miller can't. Dunn is also the future.

No way. Miller has already shown enough that he isn't one of those completely ******ed kp's like Nicho. If he can get some kicking practice and a pre-season he will be much better. Also, needs to be told not to dish the handball as often and i think he will be a good player. we will get more years out of him than aker

what about a match winner? youve really only got 1 genuine spark atm, and we've seen how poor the team is when Davey is injured.

Aker is only 29, a good 3 years is your premiership opportunity anyway, its perfect for all concerned. Miller couldnt even get a game this year.

Wouldn't give up a tall for him. Miller could eventually play Full Forward IMO, if he learns to kick. His leading is awesome and his hands are good.

Picks may come into play, but either way, I think he's heading to Essendon.

We've also shown how bad we are without any structure. IMO we look best with Carroll - Rivers - Miller - Neitz straight down the guts. I sincerely doubt we've got anyone who can really fill that CHF position at the moment.

Agreed about CHF. We all know Dunn has plenty of potential, but I reckon most knew that he wouldn't be able to hold down the position for the entire year.

We need Miller forward to have a crack at the flag this year, and in years to come.

?? we have a lot of matchwinners. Bruce, johnstone, neitz, davey, pickett, robertson have all torn games apart in the past, particularly TJ and pickett in finals. we have a lot of matchwinners, and if aker is going to do the same thing at melb as brisbane, then we dont want him
