Ideas like this seem to come up fairly often.

True 'deal breakers' obviously the club can technically say, we can trade you but here are our conditions for us to consider it.
Out of contract players it's more interesting, how much should players sacrifice to play in the big league, there's a drastic difference moving to play for North vs Melbourne for example.
I don't really see a huge problem, it's up to the clubs to be attractive and do the best they can to retain their players.

There's some challenges in this space, but of bigger significance I think we'll see more draftees not wanting to move (particularly out of Victoria), which may distort things.

How's his article today saying Jackson coming in could see the loss of Darcy and that would be ok, even though he said he had the measure of Gawn/LK on Friday night and he was Freo's best and fairest (and he's young too). Why would we do a Jackson deal which led to losing Darcy, the actual best young ruck in the comp (not just theoretical or with special titles like 'unicorn'). If that was going to be the case, no thanks Jackson. Mind blowing.
